Playful and sweet this tea marches to the beat of its own drum.  With a distinct lack of malts, this experimental black tea taste more like an artfully mulled apple cider.  Faint dried flower and hidden spice notes support this juicy, dried apple bomb of a tea.

Notes: Palm Sugar, Dried Apple, Dried Violets

Two roads diverge in an Oolong field….For Mr. Yi this lot is somewhat of a radical departure from the typical Oolong that is expected from the famed Si Ji Chun (Four Seasons) cultivar.  However, fortune favors the bold and there was no question in our minds that Mr. Yi’s decision to walk the road less traveled really paid off!

Bagua Shan, one of the work horse terroirs of central Taiwan.  Absolutely blanketed with seemingly endless field of Oolong tea it is the “bread basket” for well made everyday drinking teas.
